The Gain & Loss of Friends (Good & Bad)

Hey Everyone,

Today I was inspired by Denise (Yvette) to write about friends that I have gained and friends that I have lost over the years. I've met alot of different people in my life and some are and aren't worth mentioning. Have you ever been so close to someone that if you didn't hear from them you got really worried? I have, I've worried about alot of my friends. I can't help that, I'm a caring person so I guess it's in my nature. I'm going to talk about good and bad times. Here are some people who have made it worth mentioning:

I'll start in 7th grade (That's 4 years ago) when I met this girl named Tricia. On the first day of school in Band class (I played and still play the Flute) I saw this Blonde headed girl behind me who looked lonely. I walked up to her and introduced myself and from there on we were friends. We grew really close as time passed and she would tell me a bunch of stuff as I would to her. I would stay the nights at her house (even during school days) and she would come to mine. My mom really trusted her mom so we could go alot of places together. Her mom was super nice to me and I still like talking to her every once and a while, To see how she is (no it's not weird lol). We were really close until it hit the year of 8th grade. She met new people and started hanging around and talking with them and from there on we began getting detached. We would still talk and share things but it wasn't completely the same. The fight we got into that really separated us was a mixture of when she started hanging out with a girl named Mia and when her and my other bestie Jessica liked the same guy. I didn't really care all that much that Tricia had started hanging out with Mia because I knew Tricia was smart enough not to be dragged down with the bad crowd so I didn't really say much at the beginning. As their friendship started progressing I'd found out that Mia was getting her to smoke and drink alcohol. That didn't really set well with me and when I tried to confront her about it, it got blown WAY out of proportion. It got to the point where Mia wanted to fight me "for talking shit" (her words) and it was just drama!!! Is it my fault that I didn't want one of my best friends to start getting into bad things? I don't think so! When we talk about Jessica & Tricia I was put in the middle of the whole situation. Colton who was the guy that liked Jessica and Tricia liked him. He sat next to me in Social Studies and would always get me to get Jessica to go out with him (It was kinda cute). In the beginning I hadn't known Tricia liked him so I would tell Jessica what Colton would tell me. They started going out and it got into a huge mess!!! I found out through people that the entire time me and Tricia had been Best Friends she would talk "stuff" about me behind my back. I've learned to forgive and forget which is why I've talked to her a couple of times to set things straight but we aren't nearly as close.

In 8th Grade I had meet these amazing pair of ladies named Jessica & Ruby. Jessica was in my Math & Social Studies class and Ruby was in my Social studies class too. It was a look at each other and mouth things and laugh period since we were all together lol. Jessica quickly became really close with me. I immediately thought of her as family. Me & her were really close but when we graduated Middle School she went to a different HS and we drifted apart. Ruby was crazy, loud, and funny! Jessica, Trica, Ruby, and I were our own little group that always hung out together. Looking at the good times we all shared makes me smile.... Middle School is a Drama filled place that i won't mention talking about my bf who cheated on me with 3 other girls!!

Lets pass all the DRAMA of Middle School and go to wonderful grounds of High school... I have to admit watching movies about HS made me feel nervous about going to a new place with new surroundings. I quickly got over that when I found out a handful of friends from Middle School were going there so most of us would always sit together at lunch and talk & laugh. On the first day of school I was lost lol. I didn't know where I had to go and what buildings to go to but I took the courage to ask people and eventually got to class even if it was late.

I've meet some incredible individuals in my Freshmen & Sophomore years of HS. Alicia, Chelsea, Jose, Candace, Raby, Marina, Diana, Gaby, Aviana, Ana, Katie, Evelyn, and Juan. The people I mentioned <<< were all people who made me laugh and had fun times with but grew apart from. It being not having the same class anymore or moving schools. People who I've meet that are amazing and I have stayed in touch with are Denise, Erick, Alma, Mayra, Steven, Gaby C., Shatara, Carlos, and Sergio (If I'm forgetting anyone sorry, I'm kinda tired :P).

Denise is beautiful, caring, and a wonderful sister/friend to me. I met her in Spanish Class and since then we have been the best est of friends. We talk about e-v-e-r-ything!! I love her like family and I don't know how my year would have been without her. I've helped her alot this year and I'm extremely happy I could give her encouraging and understanding words to help her through the rough stuff. We are planning to live together when we go off to College. She wants to be a teacher which I think she will do amazing at. I love you & I'm happy I met you :).

Erick.... ay! hehe. Erick is loud, thinks he is black (haha), funny, and is a very caring friend and will back them up no matter what! I love Erick because he doesn't really care what people think about him because he will just laugh it off with his silence breaking laugh. He has grown into being one of my best guy friends ever! I care about him alot and we talk about alot of stuff. He's always wanted to here me sing and when he went to the end of the year Choir Broadway concert he got to. I sang a solo and he said "Omg, my eyes began to tear up. You sing beautiful" XP. He's my Loud Negrito as I call him.

Alma, Alma, Alma.... She is a handful (in a good way). I care about her alot, she's nice and funny. She means alot to me and I'm really happy that we are friends so we can talk about her crazy experiences that only she seems to go through lol. Alma and I together is a day filled of Rated R talking lol jk. I love ya Alma.

Mayra, My "Cousin"... Mayra and I talk about alot of stuff and have become best friends. She's my choir buddy. My mom and her mom met when we had a girls day at the movies to go see Dear John (Channing Tatum was Sexy!). Her mom is named Gina and she is very sweet. "When we get married" lol. It's a joke between me and her.

Oh Steven! Steven is awesome... He absolutely loves Lady Gaga...He is my best guy friend ever! She's so funny and I shared alot of good times with him being Choir Officers together. When I stayed at his house the day of our California trip (my first time going) it was sooo funny. We had a good time. I love him and will miss him very much.

There is sooo much more to say but if I keep writing my fingers will fall off! lol. I hope you liked this post! I love all my friends!
